Our Team

Our team have many combined years experience of working with Probation Substance Misuse Teams and have helped to save teams time and money with our common sense and customer focussed approach. Our Testing

Our wide range of testing devices helps you either target tests for exactly what is required to meet the needs of a testing order, or cover several drug groups in one test for a more holistic picture. We understand that sometimes it may be necessary to test for compliance with prescription medication or look for other possible causes of offending behaviour. A combination of testing methods can help to establish a client's pattern in use, meaning times of vulnerability can be addressed and pro-active steps taken to address them. Use our oral testing methods to look for very recent drug use and our urine to look back a little further. Depending on the drug and the quantities taken, oral testing can look back up to a 48 hour time frame. This can be used to perhaps show that drug use is regular. If positive later in the week, an oral test may demonstrate drug use during the week. If, however, a client usually produces negative urine samples later in the week, this may demonstrate abstinence during the week and point to weekend use due to the longer detection window. There are several other ways in which this kind of testing can be used, and it is important to understand the differences between the methods. This is where our experienced team comes in. Our training doesn't just cover how to use the kit. We go the extra mile to give training which our experience has taught us, helps substance misuse staff gain more information from the testing. It's not just having the best kits, it's knowing how to use them, and when to use them. Members of our team have previously helped saved six figure sums for individual Criminal Justice customers, just through giving the staff the knowledge of how to use the testing appropriately. We really do lead by example.

Drug Testing in Probation

  1. Kits designed by and for Probation teams - 7 panel instant urine cups/dips with testing strips for Amphetamine, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, Cocaine, EDDP, Methadone, Opiates.
  2. If not to your exact requirements, a range of different testing panels are always available (minimum order amount may apply for non standard panels). Please contact us to discuss.
  3. EDDP can be included at no extra cost on our "instant" tests. EDDP is a metabolite of Methadone that proves it has been through the body. This means simply adding Methadone to a sample will no longer be an option to those wishing to gain a positive result for the wrong reasons.
  4. Urine laboratory confirmation (UKAS, ISO17025, CPA accredited etc) available in a cost efficient, safe and simple to use plastic syringe system. Recommended where legal defensibility is required.
  5. Adulterant tests for urine kits can be separate or integrated.
  6. Instant Oral kits. Latest technology and design offering the most accurate and reliable instant test to date. Results in minutes with the convenience of Oral Testing. Utilising the same colour coded drug panels as our urine kits for easy interpretation.
  7. Expert support available when necessary from a company with extensive experience of legally defensible testing. We have never had a confirmation result successfully challenged.
  8. New Point of Care ("instant") finger prick Blood Borne Virus Testing (CE approved) available for multi-disciplinary teams - negating the need for phlebotomy services and the long, and sometimes stressful, wait for results.
