Sample Collection Service
ScreenSafe UK provides our own (non-subcontracted) professional and competent collection service 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to all areas within the UK. Using this service will guarantee impartiality and means that ScreenSafe UK can take complete responsibility for the sample(s). Our qualified collection officers will make sure that a legally defensible Chain of Custody is provided by:
Workplace
- Preparing the collection facilities to prevent adulteration of samples;
- Collecting the correct quantity of urine/saliva and testing it "on-site" where required to do so;
- Accurately completing and presenting all paperwork to support the sample correctly;
- Splitting the sample(s) into an A and B sample(s) where laboratory analysis is required;
- Despatching the sample(s) safely and on time using a traceable method for next working day where possible.
Collection appointments are arranged and organised to meet your requirements wherever possible, ensuring peace of mind for you and your employee(s). Immediate call-outs to attend For Cause / Just Cause testing are also available 24 hours a day / 365 days per year. Link Up contracts available on request.
Medico-Legal
- Collecting the correct quantity of hair, from the correct area, in the correct manner. It is very important to collect enough sample (in weight and length) or the accuracy of your results may be compromised and you may incur extra costs. If we do not do this correctly on your behalf, we will repeat it free of charge;
- Accurately completing and presenting all paperwork to support the sample correctly;
- Despatching the sample(s) safely and on time using a traceable method for next working day where possible.
