Collection Officer Vacancies
ScreenSafe UK has it's own team of UK and Ireland based collection officers, strategically based in geographical areas around each country. The team is available to respond 24/7/365.
Due to winning new business and new contracts and our ever expanding customer base, we are often looking to recruit new collection officers into our dedicated, friendly and professional team.
Although many of our team have come from medical and professional backgrounds, this is not necessary. We look for focussed, clear minded and organised persons who are able to interact with people from all levels.
Following the application process, you may be asked for an interview that will include a background check. On successful interview, you will be required to pass a Drugs and Alcohol test and will then be subject to our own very strict Drugs and Alcohol Policy going forward. This will include Random and For-Cause testing.
On successful completion of the above, you will be invited to attend one of our intensive training courses either at our head office in Stafford or possibly in a closer geographical area (where available). During the course, you will learn all the required procedures and protocols for taking a legally defensible sample for: Oral fluid/Saliva, Urine, Hair and DNA. For blood sampling, you will need to either be currently phlebotomy trained and competent, or to attend one of our separate phlebotomists courses.
Once you have successfully completed the above course(s) you will then be ready for our mentoring process. All new collection officers, no matter how experienced, are required to pass our mentoring process. During this time you will be allocated work where you will be accompanied and observed by a Senior Collection Officer until such time that your "mentor" deems you to be competent. Only at this point will you be allowed to attend collections alone.
Once you have reached this point, you will continue to receive new and relevant information and training to ensure your personal development and competency. This will include a full competency assessment by a Senior Collection Officer at least once every 12 months.
You will need energy, focus, and dedication. You will need to have a professional attitude and take pride in your work. You will need to be flexible and enjoy meeting people. You will need a mobile phone, access to fax and/or email and a mode of transport suitable for your geographical area.
If you think that you have the "right stuff" to join our team then, in the first instance, please send your c.v. to enquiries@screensafeuk.co.uk.
ScreenSafe UK are an equal opportunities employer and also welcome applications from retired persons. All applications will be considered based on ScreenSafe UK requirements (at time of application) in the applicable geographical areas.
